We had some good friends in town last weekend who were staying at a hotel on the south edge of the World Trade Center construction site. This photo was taken from their room on the 16th floor early Sunday morning. Absent in the photo was the sound and vibration from the pile driver that started pounding away at 7:30am.

This is a great shot. One image, or composite? I can't believe how things are actually taking shape now.
Composite of 3 images. Photoshop's "photomerge" function is like having an army or retouchers at your disposal.
