Some of you may know of my love for fake plastic deer. This one happens to be just down the street from our home and one of my favorite lawn ornaments in our neighborhood; one of the few secular lawn decorations lost in the ubiquitous religious statuary of Carroll Garden. Now buried in 4 feet of snow this deer reminds me even more of my motherland of Wisconsin which is home to many real, and fake plastic, Whitetail deer.
