One of the things I notice every time I visit Colorado, or more specifically, the eastern foothills of the Rockies is the amazing Cloud formations. This was our view at the end of a hike just before sunset in Boulder near the famous NCAR Mesa Lab. Huge Cumulonimbus clouds like this form on a regular basis in the late summer and fall, then head east to shower and thunder over the eastern plains.

gorgeous way to end a hike, and gorgeous photo as well. glad weekly photo is back!
Dang, Lopate, that's a great pic.
Quietly spectacular (kinda like you!)--I, too was worried about the gap in weekly photos--hope you're not worried about a job or anything mundane like that!
