A view of the Blue Ridge Mountains at sunset from one of the parking lots near Mount Pisgah and near the former site of George Vanderbilt's wilderness hunting lodge. We shared this sunset view with a sophisticated local man. He was leaning on his convertible sports car and drinking wine out of the bottle while watching the sunset. He told us a few stories about the George Vanderbilt and urged us to see Peter Seller's "Gardener" movie. I looked it up and it's actually called "Being There" (1979) with Peter Sellers and Shirley MacLaine. It uses George Vanderbilt's Ashville home, the Biltmore Estate, as a setting for a wealthy business man's estate in Washington D.C. I wonder what George Vanderbilt would say about Peter Sellers in character bumbling around his house?

A charming movie that you feel like you've seen before because the story has been repeated in various forms since then. Rent it!
Being There is awesome!
Blue Sunset is really nice, too, though I prefer pics of Blue Cake.
Being there is such an amazing movie. Peter Sellers is genius, as always. It's starts slow, but captivates. AD
