I resisted procrastination long enough and finally went to both MOMA and PS1 to see the joint Olafur Eliasson show, two days before they both closed. Currently making a media buzz with his Waterfalls installation on the east river, Olafur is also know for his smaller manipulations of water. Here he paints an entire room pitch black in the basement of the PS1, sprays water from fine misters in the ceiling, and shins a spotlight on the water vapor. People seemed to be mezmorized by the ghostly veil it created and were draw to interact with it.
